11A – Idea Napkin No. 1

1) My name is Juan Emilio Orbe, many people consider me a funny, happy person. I always like to give people the best of me and that means always trying to give my best to smile everyday. I think one of my biggest advantages is that I can easily connect with people from many cultures. I started studying business because I saw my dad working and I really liked the way he ran things and the way his work functioned. I started doing martial arts when I was 13. I'm a blue belt in Jui-juitsu and i've trained 4 years of kick boxing. I only did it as a hobby, I always saw business as my way here. as soon as i came out of high school i started working with my dad, I worked with him in a phone company an i really appreciated it. I think my ability to communicate and make effective relations will be a great tool in the business field and I want to learn much more! I think my product could be of great help to the hole society.

2) The product that I offer is called Streetsmart. This product will ensure the safety of many people in the streets and highways. The customer in this situation would be the government. This product will help the official put the necessary fine to the people doing an infraction. For example, if someone does an inappropriate U-turn, or just passes a red light each car will have to put a sensor that will read the car as soon as it passes the prohibited line. This will ensure safety to people because it will avoid crashes because of unconsidered people.

3) This product applies to the main mayor economies in the world. This product will be presented as an innovation, rather than a mass production product, it would be have to be bought by a government, or by a state or province, in places where death by accidents is a problem. it is also targeted to high class communities because countries with no budget may not be able to fund it. It appeals to politicians.

4) They would care becasue a big part of the community is interested in the safety of its people. Many parents will be okay with their tax money being spend on their children safety. A persons life nowdays is more valued than ever in history, and any way of preventing death is greatly appreciated by the community.

5) What would make this product stand out is that nobody has thought about sensors in the cars and in the lines that separate each street from another. That is key because its innovation. and that makes the product stand out from others.

In my opinion the core elements of my product fit very well. Safety is something that we really need as a society everyday more. People are more concerened about safety everyday, and I think that as businessman thats a trend that we need to catch.

    Great post! I really like your idea and enjoyed learning more about you. Making the roads safer is always a point of emphasis so I think your idea could be very popular. Where exactly the sensor should be placed on the car is something you could add next time. I look forward to seeing where you take your product!

    This was an excellent post. I believe that your idea is really creative and I am impressed with it. In my opinion, you would get a lot of support in this idea because I feel like everyone would be for improving safety. I also think that it is very beneficial for you that your product will affect a very wide range of people. I look forward to seeing your product in the future.

Business name: Systematic streets The opportunity : In order to understand my venture concept, we should first understand the unmet needs that I want to help the society solve. My product involves solving the drivers wreck-less driving in the cities and in the country side. I travel a lot to big cities, and the major problem that i see is that people are stressed out for the most of the time because of endless traffic and wreck-less driving and that's what this product is trying to solve for the people. 26A – Celebrating Failure

1) Thought this semester, there has been many times in which I think i'm not going to hold more, that it's to difficult for me and that I needed to give up. Wether it was this class or the other there has been challenges this semester. In this class I've mostly learned that things must be handed on time. I have missed a couple of assignments because of the date, for example the cupcake which is at 12pm on Mondays was easy to miss when I first started this class. I also struggled with the URL submitting, sometimes things are not hard, but they demand responsibility, that's something I've learned in this class. Also in my marketing class, I've taken tree difficult exams and it has not been easy.
