14A – Halfway Reflection Submit Assignment

1) Tenaciousness is a competency.  I've set up a shechdule, where I check for what assignment I have due for the week. I study from three to for hours and I take breaks. I encourage myself to to extremes that I've never gone before, wake up early and exercise to clear my mind.

2) Tenaciousness is also about attitude. I go out form time to time to clear my mind a bit too. I try to keep a positive attitude towards my assignments instead of negative ones and that helps me finish my work faster. I try not to procrastinate my assignment in order to have time to do other stuff like hang out with friends.

3) Three tips.
1.My biggest tip in this class would be to check all the assignment you have for the semester. To read the syllabus entirely and check every date.

2. Start reading the books early on the semester. I take o lot of time to read so I started reading Steve Jobs at the beggining of the semester.

3. Learn. Always keep in mind you are here to learn. Put your heart into learning and the class will be way more enjoyable.

  1. Hey Juane,
Nice job with your post this week. I appreciate the description of your schedule for this class and I think it will be very useful in telling the other students how much work they would have to put into this class. Your tips were very useful and I find myself applying these own tips to myself for this class as well. Especially putting in your heart into this class, I have found that to be very true because I end up having fun with the assignments and I believe I will end up getting something great out of this class because I generally tried with what we had to do.

  2. Hi Juan,
I enjoyed reading your post. I think you have good study habits. I like how you make yourself a schedule. Making a schedule allows you to keep up with all the assignments that are due and gives you a visual aid so you don't forget anything. I also think your tips would be very helpful to incoming students. Great post!
