30A – Final Reflection

Image
After I finished going thought my posts this semester, I felt realized in this class and in this semester. I really believe that the path has been long and at many times stressful. I experienced a lot of challenges which helped me understand my flaws and I overcame them by improving my next projects. I am honored to say that I've been through this class. My most informative experience in this class was my elevator pitch assignment. I really developed many skills, such as public speaking and learning how to communicate my ideas in a more understandable way. To be honest I think that what I enjoyed the most was the reading reflections we had to post. I believe that the reading reflections left many knowledge and that books really help a lot to learn. Another activity that I enjoyed in this class was commenting in our classmate posts. I really believe that this makes the class dynamic and more enjoyable. I think that my entrepreneur mindset has grown a lot in this class, even thou...

29A – Venture Concept No. 2

Image
Business name: Systematic streets The opportunity : In order to understand my venture concept, we should first understand the unmet needs that I want to help the society solve. My product involves solving the drivers wreck-less driving in the cities and in the country side. I travel a lot to big cities, and the major problem that i see is that people are stressed out for the most of the time because of endless traffic and wreck-less driving and that's what this product is trying to solve for the people. I'm first trying to impose this market for my country, Ecuador, which is were I'm from, is a small country and it can suit very well for this type of opportunities, we can test the product there and see how it goes.  The innovation aspect: Taking my ideas into action is the first move I would make for this opportunity. This opportunity has many faces, to begin we first need to invest in a technology that can put these ideas into place. The main idea o...

28- Your Exit Strategy

1) In my case I would let my venture further grow at least for 20 years, 5 years is too short for a business to gain it's revenue again. Eventually, when O can sell it for a lot of money, or when the market decays i may sell it. 2) Because at this stage is were most businesses are making revenue and I believe that's a great time to sell the business because they'll give a lot of money for it. 3) My exit strategy influences the rapidness that the business must be built, we want to build something big and precise, so we might want to take our time and do things right.

27A – Reading Reflection No. 3

Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future, Ashlee Vance To me, this book was extremely amazing to read, mostly because I really admire Elon Musk and I'm a great fan of his job. He is a revolutionizer and is someone that society should admire as ma whole. i think he should be admired because he leads the world most biggest space shuttle companies which is SpaceX. What I admire the most about Elon is that he does things in order to help the humanity as whole. i believe he is successful because he keeps his ideas unique and he has his own thinking criteria and is not easy influenced by what other people say. He's had a clear goal since he was in college, alleviating our dependence on oil and make us a multi-planetary species. Elon Musk has been labeled and obsessive and compulsive in his line of job, but i can't blame him with so much job in his shoulders. I don't think he would be were he is right now if it wouldn't be for his decisiveness....

26A – Celebrating Failure

1) Thought this semester, there has been many times in which I think i'm not going to hold more, that it's to difficult for me and that I needed to give up. Wether it was this class or the other there has been challenges this semester. In this class I've mostly learned that things must be handed on time. I have missed a couple of assignments because of the date, for example the cupcake which is at 12pm on Mondays was easy to miss when I first started this class. I also struggled with the URL submitting, sometimes things are not hard, but they demand responsibility, that's something I've learned in this class. Also in my marketing class, I've taken tree difficult exams and it has not been easy. The first exam I didn't do well, so I studied the most I could for the second and third and now i'm on the road to a better grade in both classes. 2) This failure taught me that I have to be patient and consistant in life, if I wouldn't have had patience when...
